The Camarillo Police Department is proud to announce the next Coffee with a Cop event.  Coffee with a Cop brings deputies and community members together, over coffee, to discuss issues and learn more about resources, services and any needs in the community.  This event will be held on 01/20/2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Starbucks in the Las Posas Plaza, located at 540 Las Posas Road in Camarillo.

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month.  Human Trafficking involves the exploiting of a person for labor, services or commercial sex.  This month’s Coffee with a Cop will feature members of the Ventura County Human Trafficking Task Force.  Members of the Camarillo Police Department and the Human Trafficking Task Force will be on hand to provide insight into this inhumane form of abuse and explain how we identify and assist victims of this devastating crime.

The Camarillo Police Department and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office have benefited from strong partnerships within the communities we serve, and our goal is to provide information to the community about how we can work together to prevent this crime in our city.  By sitting down and having a simple conversation, over coffee, deputies and community members can continue growing together.  We look forward to answering your questions and working together.

The Camarillo Police Department would like to thank Starbucks for their continued partnership in hosting many of these events throughout the year.
