SLO Sheriff’s Office Investigating Deputy Involved Shooting in Nipomo

On 4-19-2026, Deputies responded to a family disturbance in the 700 block of Hill Street in Nipomo.

When Deputies arrived on scene, an officer-involved shooting occurred. Sheriff’s Detectives are at the location and the scene has been secured. There is no threat to the public at this time.
