The Bridge Café in downtown San Luis Obispo has announced it will permanently close on March 31, 2026. The closure marks the end of a community-focused café that combined dining with social impact.
The decision was made by Restorative Partners, the founder of The Bridge Café, by choosing not to renew the café’s lease.

The closure was confirmed by the café in an Instagram post, describing it as a board-level decision and a shift in the organization’s priorities.
The organization stated, “While this was a difficult decision, it is the right one for the organization at this time.”
Customers are urged to use any remaining gift cards and loyalty points by April 1, as they will no longer be valid after that date. The organization thanked customers, donors, county partners, and the broader community for their support over the years.
