Mosey’s Burgers, the burger joint in Cayucos, has opened another location in San Luis Obispo County.

Mosey’s Burger added its second spot in Morro Bay in January, it announced in a social media post. Located at 307 Morro Bay Boulevard, the eatery is open seven days a week, with an option to order online.

In an earlier Instagram post, the eatery shared a glimpse of the Morro Bay location, showing a spacious outdoor patio filled with large wooden picnic tables.

The location includes a food truck, ‘The Grinning Bear,’ which serves fried chicken and provisions.

The beachside burger joint is known for its variety of smashburgers, made from fresh beef and topped with grilled onions, cheddar cheese, pickles, and sauce on a brioche bun.

In addition to the burgers, Mosey’s Burgers at Morro Bay also serves fries and rings, chicken and steak tacos, and beverages such as root beer (using locally roasted coffee, brewed in-house) and a selection of soft drinks.

Expanding Dining Options in San Luis Obispo County

San Luis Obispo County is expanding its dining experience and is adding more restaurants for the community.

Giligan’s Sandwich Shop recently opened in Nipomo, making it the eatery’s second location in the San Luis Obispo County. Located at 671 W. Tefft Street, the Nipomo eatery will operate under the name Gilligan’s Sandwich Shop & Twisted Sodas.

Customers can personalize their subs or choose from hot dogs and pizzas prepared with homemade sauce.

SLO Public Market, the open-air public market at the Bonetti Ranch, will be adding two popular restaurants.

Petra, the restaurant specializing in Mediterranean pizza and grill fare, announced it will open at the market early 2026. An official opening date is yet to be announced.

Petra currently has another location at 1210 Higuera Street.

SLO Public Market also confirmed the arrival of popular Japanese restaurant Goshi. The restaurant will offer a selection of items prepared with fresh ingredients and made by trained chefs.

Goshi also prepares its own sauces and offers a range of traditional starters.

The SLO Public Market location will be Goshi’s second restaurant, following its store at The Creamery Marketplace at 570 Higuera Street.
