Multiple Road Repairs Underway Across Paso Robles
Several sections of roads in Paso Robles are currently undergoing or will undergo repairs and maintenance.
The area of the road along Geneseo Road south of its intersection with Ground Squirrel Hollow Road is scheduled to undergo maintenance by the County of San Luis Obispo Department of Public Works from December 9, 2025.
The public works department cautioned drivers traveling through Geneseo Road to expect delays of up to 20 minutes during construction. Crews will be working on the section of the road between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The maintenance project is expected to continue through December 12, 2025, the department said in a statement.
In addition to the maintenance and improvement projects, the public works department of the City of Paso Robles is also working on the rehabilitation of the 24th Street Bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad track.
In 2015, the City secured a federal grant for preliminary engineering of a modern, expanded bridge. An environmental clearance for the project was issued in 2021.
Another project, the Road Safety Plan, aims to create the framework and process to identify, analyze, and prioritize roadway safety improvements on the roads across Paso Robles. The California Department of Transportation awarded the City a grant in December 2020 for the plan.
Aiming to develop protected travel paths for pedestrians and cyclists, the Niblick Corridor Project will enhance Niblick’s four lanes. The City was recommended for a $13.8 million grant to upgrade the Niblick Corridor from Creston Road to Spring Street.
