Five Juveniles Arrested For Assault With a Deadly Weapon, Robbery, Conspiracy of Teenager

On Thursday, February 5, 2026, at around 8:00 pm, San Luis Obispo Police officers were dispatched to a call of a fight in a parking lot in the 1100 block of Morro, in downtown San Luis Obispo. The suspects fled in several vehicles prior to officer’s arrival. 

During the initial investigation, officers determined that a female juvenile had been assaulted by two juvenile males and three juvenile females. During the assault, the victim was thrown to the ground where she was repeatedly punched and kicked on her body and head, causing her to lose consciousness and sustain other injuries. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for care. The victim’s phone and purse were stolen during the attack.   

The SLOPD Detective Bureau assumed the investigation and were able to identify the juvenile suspects. On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Detectives located and arrested five juvenile suspects for PC 245(a)(4) – Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Great Bodily Injury, PC 211 – Felony Robbery and PC 182 – Felony Conspiracy. All five suspects were booked into the San Luis Obispo County Juvenile Hall.   

Two of the juveniles had an additional charge for HS 11357(d) – Misdemeanor Minor in Possession of Less than 1 Ounce of Marijuana, and one juvenile was also charged with PC 22810(d) – Misdemeanor Minor in Possession of Pepper Spray.
