Looking for feedback from anyone who has switched to Frontier for Fiber service.
Is it any good, especially with the service, internet quality, and pricing?

Search “reddit santa barbara frontier”; there’s lots of talk about Frontier.
this thread has a lot of talk about outages, not just due to the fire, but in SB and in general

I live in the upper East and see no marked difference. I also don’t see any power loss either but that may be me.
I switched to Frontier a few months ago and except for a glitch with service in the very beginning, so far I like it. It’s almost half of what I paid for Cox (internet only). They were on time for the installation appointment, the technicians were professional and friendly. It seems a bit faster than what I had at Cox. There have been a couple of times that I froze for a brief moment during zoom but otherwise all is good.
About seven months ago Frontier was useless with text support and their outsourced overseas service told me it would take about two weeks before they could be here to fix the issues. This was after probably a few hours on the phone, including a dropped call. Don’t know if their service has improved. Also found their sending unidentifiable employees out soliciting calls sometimes at dusk. Cox found a rate and service which have been acceptable.
We’ve had Frontier Fiber for two years. It is as advertised. Fast, no down time and responsive service. And way cheaper than Cox. Couldn’t be happier.
