I'm thinking that there are some restaurants in/around SB that are known for dedicated Friday & Saturday menus.

Common offerings are fresh fish, prime rib, fried chicken, etc. Mind asking my fellow Edhatters what are the best Friday and Saturday night restaurant specials?

For me, it's less about the price and more about them being "known" as the place to go for a specific thing those nights.

May want to check Rosales on Montecito street (Milpas and Montecito). They have a board hanging, but I think it's the same thing, and their website has it on their "landing" page https://www.rosalesmexicanrestaurant.com/

While not listed on the restaurants’ menus, I hear most are giving away a free case of Covid.

I went to two restaurants and a Starbucks this evening - all 3 were closed from staff out with Covid.

The new Anchor Rose in the Santa Barbara Harbor (Maritime Museum Building) has some really great weekend deals and a happy hr. The food is similar to the old Beachside in Goleta near the airport.
