Can anyone recommend a good vet in Santa Barbara? I was taking my dog to Dr Kay Fransen at the SB Animal Medical Center on Milpas, and now all of a sudden she's gone. That place has changed ownership about 3 times over the years since I've been going there.

My 13-year-old dog has always gone to Airport Animal Hospital, when it was under the former owners, and now, to the new veterinarians there. Very happy with the care we've gotten over the years.

Airport Animal Hospital. We have seen both of the women doctors and they are wonderful - kind, knowledgable and our cat likes them both!

Love love love the vets at Carpinteria Veterinarian hospital. Dr Otto has been fabulous but he's mostly retired now. My dog has had care from Dr. Fischer, Dr Putnam and Dr Unterworth and they are fabulous. Dr Unterworth even called up the pharmaceutical company to find out about a new medications possible counter-effects to see why my dog started drinking massive quantities of water and peeing her bed. Can't go wrong with any of the vets there and the techs are excellent.

St. Francis Pet Hospital, Dr. Lawrence. She's thoughtful and generous with her time. The office seems to be efficient and well-run.

We like Dr. Greg Haskell of Adobe Pet Hospital. Address: 3230 State St # A, Santa Barbara, CA 93105 Hours: Open today · 8AM–6PM Phone: (805) 682-2555 When we were having a horribly difficult time finding a vet to euthanize our aged dog (emergency situation), Dr. Haskell was the only vet (out of five that we called) who would book us in, even though we weren't "clients." We had had a house call vet lined up, but----wouldn't you know it?----she had gone out of town.
