When we were looking for a place to store our RV last year, the first thing we did was to enter "RV storage" in Google search. You can just as easily perform the same search in IE, Firefox, or DuckDuckGo. Anyway, we found that by performing a search on the internet, we were able to locate many places where we could store our RV in our geographical area. Often the search results provide links to these places, where you can find out their exact locations, and a phone number that you can use to call the place directly.
So you don't know the name, address or phone number...........so yea the first post... as I have said in the past......................Google.... or wait for 8 hrs here ....and no answer.....
Is the post about a space to "store" an RV or a space to locate and occupied RV? If the latter I think the only site for this is at the Salinas/101 offramp and the costs per night are ridiculously high.
RV storage is very hard to find. Larry Cavaletto had a great storage facility on the old xmas tree farm, but the county shut him down and they are noe farming apartments there. Storage for rv's, boats, tree trimming stuff, construction equipment is far more needed than more traffic inducing apartments. It is a shame that the county does not understand this need and that real estate prices prohibit affordable storage facilities. Last week we finally emptied our 350 sq ft storage space in Goleta, which will save us $606/month!!! Storage(life in general) in SB is prohibitively costly.
What a petty thought. Really, is it a prime imperative of government to facilitate cheap storage for people with excess money to store their excess property rather than to find actual housing for people without such?!
You forgot to say that they should have first searched Edhat's archives to make sure that no one has ever asked this question before. They used to really get after people for that. Is the Edhat crowd going soft?
