Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced gardener who can provide hand-weeding?

People think it's easy to distinguish a weed from a wanted plant. I just finished training and training one of my housemates about weeds. Sadly, he still manages to yank out a few flowering plants now and then. If he wasn't busy with his job, I'd hire him out to you. You never saw such a hard worker in the garden in your life. Worth every penny he's paid. But first I'd come along to make sure he knows your weeds from your flowers.--------And good for you yanking out weeds instead of using pesticides. Awesome. I read years ago it is called "The Japanese Method" of weeding. The method is to pull those weeds out before they flower and spread their seed. (It's actually getting a bit late in the season for that now, by the way. Better hurry it up. Happy gardening to you.)

Go post your job at all the gardening shops, Bedrock and elsewhere on their bulletin board. I get great seeders and yard workers for $15-$18 an hour plus I feed them lunch from Subway or Carl’s Junior. You’ll soo n have a call back list of workers who know your property and requirements. Many seek weekend intermittent work. I get painters off the Bulletin Boards too.

Why don’t you do it like the old days, and hire some high school students. If you pay decently there are many people born in this country that speak English that would love the work.
