I'm looking to take some friends visiting from out of town to some local craft breweries. Which ones would you recommend?

<p>Agree about M.Special. I also vote for Captain Fatty's in Goleta and Topa Topa in the Funk Zone.&nbsp;</p>

Fig has great beers too but it can get crowded. Topa Topa is a good Funk Zone option, so is Telegraph Brewing.&nbsp;

I'd say fig mountain has the best beer of all local craft. But the SB location get's crazy crowded. 3rd window is good. I love going to Telegraph and Pure Order, but the beer is just not that good.
