I'm looking for a local caterer with reasonable pricing to cater a small event I'm hosting. Nothing fancy, just some basic appetizers and nibbles. Thanks for the help!

We buy platters at Costco, along with the El Pollo Loco "party box"...no one complains.

We used Slate Catering (slatecatering.com) for the cocktail hour at our wedding. They specialize in grazing tables for parties and the result is beautiful and tasty!

Island View Catering has done a lovely job at a couple events I've attended, at reasonable prices - http://ivcatering.com . Country Meat is also good, esp. if folks like tri-tip bbq. (It wouldn't surprise me if SBCC also had a catering program, but I haven't checked recently.)
