I used Dr. Montgomery for my carpal tunnel and he did an excellent job. I have no pain (a year later) and you can hardly see my scar. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Ruth, without question. He has done surgery on me and my wife and did a fabulous job each time.

Stay away from (Dr?) Jessica Cohen-Brown at Sansum. She completely screwed up my broken finger operation. I've had five operations total and it will never be right again. A 45-minute scheduled surgery took three and a half hours! She actually broken bones while trying to set my finger!

I agree regarding Dr. Cohen-Brown. Instead of fixing my thumb she kept giving me cortisone shots and I was still in lots of pain from a roll over car accident. I finally found a Dr. that unfortunately is no longer with Sansum. He said that the shots caused a hole in the bone and lots of repairs had to be done in surgery. He said if I wanted to go to court he would go with me to testify as she should not be practicing.

I'm sorry about your bad experience. To be fair to Dr. Cohen-Brown, however, she did my carpal-tunnel surgery and the procedure went very well. My c-t symptoms were alleviated. It will remain the case, however, that if whatever behavior initially caused the carpal tunnel symdrom continue, certain symptoms will re-occur, e.g. trigger finger. Periodic cortisone shots do help.

Don't use Dr. Holstein . He. completely botched a carlpel tunnel surgery he did on me a couple of years ago. My right hand and right arm have never fully recovered. I have daily nerve pain at the site of the surgery and days where it radiates up my arm to my elbow and shoulder. Just saying, Dr. Behrman sounds like a good recommendation.

I will second and third Dr. Michael Behrman. He performed surgery on my hand for a trigger finger and did an excellent job with a very quick healing and recovery. He really knows his stuff, but like the other person said, he's kind of dry and matter-of-fact type of guy.

Dr Behrman did a flawless transverse ligament release for trama to the nerves in my right hand. Regained 100% function going on 20 years now.

We have been very happy with Dr. Montgomery at Associate Hand Surgeons 2323 De La Vina St, Santa Barbara, CA 93105, Phone: (805) 682-2267. He did two surgeries on my husband's hands and we thought he was excellent. Following the surgeries, he referred us to the hand therapy practice in the same building downstairs.

I also used Dr. Robert Ruth for my carpal tunnel surgery - he did both wrists at once orthoscopically and I had perfect results! He is excellent and has great staff.

I had a good experience with Dr. Behrman also. Very dry and matter of fact, not warm, but he did a great job.
