Where can you go in town for really great corn beef and cabbage?
Hollister Brewing across from Home Depot in Goleta has a St. Patrick's day program. They're serving corned beef and cabbage.
Anywhere but Dublin or Cork.
LOL i've been to both, and i don't recall ever seeing corned beef and cabbage on any plate there....lots of fish n chips and guiness tho!
Me too, that was the point, I guess I should have clarified no place in Eire.
For fish and chips I'll stick to Alaska where you can get Halibut, they even have strict limits on cod in Ireland. I'm a Watney's Red Barrel fan but I'll go with Guinness Beef Pot Pie any day...I even know how to spell it.
i know how to spell it too, i just don't care if i make mistakes here. at all. i don't even check. plus it gives others something to pick apart and complain about LOL
spent every day in dublin at the pub across from the brewery, 5pm they'd roll a barrel from the brewery over and tap it. was a tradition. man...that stuff doesn't travel well. the Guinness i there was so amazing and smooth...like a creamy treat.
might just be just cabbage with the inflated meat prices up 20% over last year. :)
MP805 - Yep, ol' sneaky Biden driving up corned beef prices just to spite us all!
But how much of that can one eat?
Oh, goodness, a LOT. And in sandwiches the next day, and then for dinner again.
i noticed that yesterday....$18 for a small one at ralphs....yikes
LMAO Sac...yeah that evil liberal leprechaun is out to get us by raising meat prices. just like he raised our gas prices *eye roll*
Come to our house!
DEAL! post the address lol
Harry's or Joe's would be my choice if I had to go out.
The Brewhouse has all you can eat corn beef and cabbage with mashed potatoes tomorrow for $20! 229 West Montecito street
dude thats half a block from my place....looks like i'm heading to the brewhouse!
M Specail has a food truck that used to go and make really good corn beef and cabbage like the best I haven’t been there in a while since I I don’t drink much anymore but that’s one place
Went to dargens expecting at least decent Irish food it was terrible.
I went to Dargens recently and had the exact opposite experience. Very delicious food. We ordered pot pie, bangers and mash, and corned beef. All good reviews.
