I am trying to find the coolest, best playground for my 7-year-old granddaughter tomorrow since schools are closed and so is the Kids World at Keck Park. Can edhat readers help me out?
The one in Chase Palm Park, behind the carousel. What's it called? Always a good spot next to the beach, plus you can't go wrong with the Carousel too.
Playgrounds alllll over this city. Although they aren't kids world they are nice because you don't have to follow your little kids to make sure the big ones aren't knocking them down. Every park has a playground... Chase Palm, Shoreline, La Mesa, Hilda Rae, Oak Park, Eilings, Stevens, Rocky Nook, Tuckers Grove, Girsh, Goleta Beach, Stow Grove and then there are some neighborhood parks tucked away, like University circle. So many choices, I'm sure I'm missing some! Favorites are Stow Grove, La Mesa and University circle park
Stevens park for sure. Nice picnic area, play ground, plenty of shade and grass. Not alot of parking.
Also Rocky Nook park has a nice playground and creek. Natural History Museum across the street is even better...
