Well... it's National Margarita Day and now all I can think about is having one for happy hour. But I'm curious, which is the best place in town that edhatters like to drink margaritas?

Home: 1/3 tequila, 1/3 fresh squeezed lime juice, 1/3 triple sec. Yum!

Your kidding right...no bar here or any house in Mexico would ever put the same amount of triple sec as tequila. it's 2-1-1 in any bar guide. Nothing like a glass half full of sugar...eh.

El Niño or El Presidente margaritas at Chili's. Both are sweet but very tasty and…efficient.

Casa de Pico in San Diego. Used to be in Old Town but now is up in Kearny Mesa. Strong but good!

During Fiesta we escape the downtown crush and discovered EXCELLENT Margarita's, including a very refreshing Cucumber Marg, at Pepe's on Orange Ave. in Goleta!

Best margi? My house! Other than that I second Joe's, Paradise Cafe, and add Los Arroyos on Coast Village...all for different reasons. Drink up! (responsibly of course) :-)

The Playa Azul margarita in the signature blue copa. Be sure to visit happy hour daily from 4-6 pm! After quaffing margies in SB area for the last 53 years, I have no doubt that this is the best margarita that you can buy in SB town today! Second place in my opinion would go to Paul's hand made version at Tee Off on upper State Street.

This isn’t in town but El Pescador in Fillmore has the best margaritas I have EVER had. I’ve never had one locally that even comes close.
