Top Democrats say they won’t just â€Trump-proof’ California — they’ll make it Affordable Again
This is pretty straightforward. The CA Dems are flailing. Really hard to take the Ca state legislature seriously at this point - “Crime is not a priority” just about says it all. Their track record is poor. Now they’re just reacting to what hit them in the face with the election. Do better next time. I’d vote for a decent democrat any day, but where are they? Nowhere to be found. They look like a bunch of elitist Tesla driving clowns doing the same thing but expecting a different result.

High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Rollover Crash on Bonita School Property in Santa Maria
I don't see Coasts response. Only you SAC You morons know nothing of what happened, yet you build a narrative that it has to be the cops fault for trying to stop a lawbreaker. I see a Honda Box piece of shit car so the intelligence of the driver and commenters here, comes into Q with me.

High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Rollover Crash on Bonita School Property in Santa Maria
Criminals that choose to be so and then run recklessly away from law enforcement are endangering everyone. Anyone who would deflect the criminal’s terrible and reckless decisions and turn it into law enforcements fault is out of touch with reality and also someone who sounds like they like criminals more than our laws.

Annual New Year’s Polar Dip at East Beach Canceled Due to New City Requirements
BASIC - " I’m not crying either " - LOL the evidence suggests otherwise. Your diaper full yet? And yeah, I've read them and I've been deleted a lot, as you like to point out. I've also been on "instant delete" for a while as well. So hush, baby cakes. You paying yet to be here?

None of that’s news to me. I understand it. Do you? Tell yourself, Dalgorf, and Alexblue to reread them though. You might learn something. Constant violations of these rules. I’m not crying either - save that garbage call - I’m just pointing out facts. I could call you all out on nearly every one of those violation rules, everyday in fact. Silly. Save it.

BASIC and SBLETGET - I know you're both too lazy to do this on your own, so I did your work for you, again. From the Comment Policies page - https://www.edhat.com/about-edhat/comment-policies/ "2. No direct insults of other commenters. 2 a. No criticizing of writing style, punctuation, spelling, or grammar of commenters or contributors. 2 b. No speculation about an anonymous commenter’s identity. 2 c. No harassing other commenters. 2 d. [Update: Harassment and bullying of other commenters and/or edhat staff members may result in account moderation and/or permanent banishment from edhat.com] 3. No derogatory comments, particularly ones against any specific groups. [Update: Any user who violates this policy will immediately have their comments moderated before posting live] 3 a. No sexist, homophobic, racist, xenophobic, classist, or any other prejudiced comments. 3 b. No advocacy of harm or death of any specific group or persons, even the bad ones." Read those well. BASIC will keep crying about it being unfair, but now he has no excuse. You violate the rules, there are consequences. Don't like it, leave.

BASIC - "don’t want long, extended arguments with a bunch of nonsensical and irrelevant personal insults between a couple posters, and I agree with that. It adds NOTHING to the topic at hand." Dude, buy yourself a fucking mirror. It still baffles me how absolutely out of touch you are with your self awareness...... Do you pay to use this site? If not, stop crying about it. I'm sick of subsidizing lazy, cheap bigots here.

No, it’s that Edhat is a very liberal political entity overall. Makes sense - they mirror what the majority of the SB voters apparently feel. Simple as that. Their prerogative of course, but make no mistake. Your â€lies, bigotry, and conspiracy theory’ idea just plain false. Typical nonsense that you’d come up with. So Edhat, they choose to let some folks say whatever they want in the moment and others not. Of course they then have someone going back and reviewing their instant deletes and deciding whether it’s on Ok post or not. You can, and I’m sure have, look through all the deleted posts and you’ll see a lot of stuff that makes no sense to have been deleted. I think the moderators just don’t want long, extended arguments with a bunch of nonsensical and irrelevant personal insults between a couple posters, and I agree with that. It adds NOTHING to the topic at hand.

Standing Up to Trump: Laura Capps Leads Off Our New Series, as Local Leaders Gird for Looming Threats and Perils
That’s classic. I know, there’s just a few real aggro liberals spewing hate here all day. They can’t move on. The beach/open ocean was a good place to be today.

California Democrats Plan to Crack Down on Cities that Block Abortion Clinics
SBLETSGET - "Why are Democrats pushing for late term abortion?" They're not. That's yet another Con myth that people with no critical thinking or ability to accept facts as true have been duped into believing, despite the CONSTANT proof against that. "Most abortions occur within the first 6 weeks." OK, do you really think life starts in 6 weeks? It's not even considered a fetus until the end of the first trimester. Doesn't even have a fully developed heart until 10 weeks. Not viable to survive outside the womb for many more months. So again, do you think a baby is "alive" before 6 weeks? If not, then it sounds like the majority of abortions should be allowed in your opinion, right?

Standing Up to Trump: Laura Capps Leads Off Our New Series, as Local Leaders Gird for Looming Threats and Perils
If someone broke the law they should be held accountable. Trump was prosecuted for what some thought he broke the law. By the logic on this thread it’s ok for illegals to break the law, but Trump has to go to jail for a an accounting case? Help me understand the logic. The author is purposely fear mongering and misleading people, by stating “immigrants”. Trump has stated he will deport people who broke our immigration laws. What’s wrong with enforcing the law? Why does this author promote breaking the law? What other threats is the author hinting at? Or is it just more fear mongering with disinformation?

Annual New Year’s Polar Dip at East Beach Canceled Due to New City Requirements
Just call it a Pro Palestine, BLM or Antifa rally. Seriously though, the City cannot prohibit a free gathering of like minded people on public grounds. By limiting the number of oriole and requiring permits is a violation of the public’s right to gather. If this event were charging money, a business it would be different. I say everyone show up to protest the city. It’s a first amendment right to gather on public land.
High-Speed Pursuit Ends in Rollover Crash on Bonita School Property in Santa Maria
Anon - For an answer to your question about "blame," off the top I'd say the driver is to blame as it's appears there was more than one report of the car being driven recklessly. I'll guess an attempt was made to stop the car, the driver sped off and the pursuit begins and ends when the driver appears to roll his car. Would you prefer the CHP not pursue the driver so they could get away, continue their reckless driving and possibly injure/kill someone? Due to the reckless driving report(s) I don't see there is any way the CHP could not pursue the car until the pursuit ends.
