Anna Janelle, the designer and CEO, started making jewelry in 2012. Over time, she realized that her creations carried a transformative power, uplifting and inspiring those who wore them. As her passion grew, she taught herself the art of wire-wrapping and found joy in discovering gemstones, building each piece around their natural beauty.
Janelle further wrote that her jewelry business began in 2017 along the canals of Amsterdam, Netherlands. During her two years abroad, she had the chance to explore part of her multiracial heritage and immerse herself in a new creative environment.
She adds that her designs draw inspiration from the minimalist and functional nature of Dutch design, blended with the coastal lifestyle of Santa Barbara.
While living overseas, she spent her time participating in open-air markets, taking classes, and refining her craft. In 2019, she returned to Santa Barbara, bringing home her business and the Dutch spirit that continues to influence her work.
