Don't piss off mom! A woman who was involved in a non-injury hit and run in the Sears parking lot in La Cumbre Plaza. She saw the suspect park his vehicle and go into Sears, she is waiting for him outside.

Hi, that was my mom. She said a very nice woman waited for her to return to the parking lot, gave my mom license and description, drove her to the location where the alleged offender moved her car. Because I could not get there myself (no car) and my mom didn't want to call police, I called myself. I think they were concerned what might happen to a septagenarian in such a situation. Police responded, complete with K9 presence, matched up the paint marks on both vehicles, wrote a report and that's a wrap.

what a kind gesture by the bystander as well! how bold of that person to just move their car to a diff location in same spot... clearly not the brightest criminal lol

An A+ for this woman. She raised a good daughter, called police and followed through. Two of a kind. Good on you! I'm proud of both of you!

Will the name of the hit and run suspect be made public? That's someone you don't want to hire.

Let's hope they wait until the suspect is either convicted or cleared before the public shaming begins. Too many times, peoples' names are published as "suspects" and then the charges are dropped. Well, although there are no formal charges in their criminal history, a prospective employer will still see their name in a Google search.
