Whittier Fire Information Board at Costco

There were people in Costco when the Mandatory Evacuation Order was sent to cellphones as alerts.  People came running out of Costco to the Information Board, asking the Fire Personnel what was going on.  We were there at 11:30, and the Order had just been announced.  People were shocked!  Winchester Canyon all the way to the 101, Mandatory Evacuation.  Also, the parking lot across from the Sheriff Substation/Movie theater was roped off, no cars allowed in that huge lot.  Perhaps they’ll be staging there, fire trucks and other emergency vehicles.  It was BUSY.
