- 2026 Downtown Activation Mini-Grants: DSBIA is offering $250–$1,000 grants to fund creative, free public activations. Deadline: February 9. Submit to info@downtownsb.org.
- I Love My Library (February 1–14): Visit local businesses to sign a postcard supporting the Santa Barbara Public Library.
- 41st Santa Barbara International Film Festival (February 4–14): 11 days of world premieres, red carpets, and free community screenings.
- Valentine’s High Tea at Andersen’s Danish Bakery (February 1–15): Enjoy heart-shaped cookies, apple strudels, tea sandwiches, champagne, and more, every day after 2:00 PM.
- Jardin Nocturne Exhibition at Seimandi & Leprieur Gallery (On Display until February 21): Atmospheric paintings by French artist Dora Vital that explore light and shadow, curated by Jen Huang Bogan.
- LIT: Love, Illumination, Transcendence Exhibition at Art & Soul (On Display until March 1): Sculptural works by Rod Lathim using repurposed vintage instruments.
- 24th Annual Downtown Santa Barbara LIVE Art & Wine Tour (Thursday, April 30, 5:30 PM): Tickets are now on sale for downtown’s premier culinary and artistic adventure.
- “Jeff Bridges-Pictures” Exhibition at Tamsen Gallery (On Display until April 30): The first hometown exhibition of Academy Award-winner Jeff Bridges’ photography.
- “The Gift: New Additions to our Story” Exhibition at Santa Barbara Historical Museum (On Display until May 31): Highlighting community gifts that illuminate local history.
- “Ludmilla Pilat Welch: Serene Santa Barbara” Exhibition at Santa Barbara Historical Museum (On Display until May 31): Historic plein air renderings of Santa Barbara’s iconic adobes.
