Sounds like they responded to Campus Point at first, then realized the reporting person was at Devereux. Helicopter came out and did a few orbits and is now returning to Santa Ynez.

I could be wrong, but only the water rescue units respond to Campus Point to launch the boats

The call went out for a rescue at Coal Oil Point. The surfer was blown down wind to Devereaux, actually a wind surfer who was struggling in the high winds and seas. Thank God for our brave rescuers.

The initial callout at 2:51 was Slough Rd which is of course Coal Oil Point with E11 and 17 with Water Rescue 11&17 which are actually personal watercraft. They are the close in engines with 11 the only County Truck along with them being the water rescue station.
