SBCSAR responded this morning along with Santa Barbara County Fire, Los Padres National Forest, and AMR to the report of a fall victim on Tunnel Trail.
Crews located the subject after a short search of the trail and began treatment for injuries. SBCSAR assisted in the carry out of the subject to the ambulance for transport to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

A fall-victim has received a head injury. The incident occurred off the Tunnel Trail near Inspiration Point 200 yards past the gate off Tunnel Road.
Hope s/he is going to be okay. All of this trail hiking and now so many injuries . . . it’s like hiking this trail has become an extreme sport or something.
