A little after 3:00 p.m., Santa Barbara City firefighters, an ambulance, and SB Police responded to a rollover vehicle collision at State Street and Calle Real, near the McDonalds.

Initial scanner traffic reported a pickup truck was on its side and one person was trapped.

I heard an injury but couldn't make out anything else on it. Also heard an animal control call, possibly for a dog inside the vehicle but no confirmation or update on it.

Vehicle Rollover on Upper State Street

What the heck happened at the Hope offramp? The wall was hit super hard along its whole length (looks like), lots of destruction and some crumbling concrete, and whatever hit it caught on fire. Maybe this is old news, I don't get up that way too often. Looks like it was nasty though!
