Vehicle crashed into multiple parked vehicles and has rolled over on Salsipuedes street near Pico Avenue. Police and fire are on scene investigating.
4 vehicles involved
Vehicle is on it side
Vehicle on its side? How in the hell does a vehicle get enough velocity on Salsipuedes to end up on its side?
Obviously unable to handle that huge sweeping curve/bend... Or that steep hill. Had me wondering also, just wrote it off as "Eastside traffic rules" (stop signs/speed limits don't apply?).
Perhaps by speeding down Pico and then turning sharply onto Salsipuedes.
Mr. JP says "Laughing" DUI... Really have to feel for the person w/Crushed blue/navy Toyota that was legally parked on the street. Google shows that same auto parked in the driveway directly across from Pico Ave. (image capture 1-2019), now regretting the street park.
MarcelK, I'm now looking @ the Pico & Salsipuedes intersection, Pico feeds uphill to Salsipuedes. Not saying the guy couldn't have been speeding, But on an uphill, it just seems odd.
But I have to say, I don't know which direction the vehicle was traveling from, so I'm kind of clueless on this 1.
Bicyclist, like I mentioned to MarcelK, if they were coming up Pico, it's uphill. However, if they were coming down Salsipuedes, that's a slight downhill. Just seems kind of bizarre from what little I see. But yeah, totally aware of "Eastside traffic rules" you mention!
Salsipuedes goes up towards Pico and passes to DeLaGuerra. Pico is a relatively level street
Salsipuedes goes up towards Pico and passes to DeLaGuerra. Pico is a relatively level street. Was Pico originally identified as street or avenue? How is it listed now?
Some time ago two women were murdered in a small house close to the intersection. Heard there was a good suspect but not enough evidence.
