A pickup truck was involved in a solo traffic collision on Highway 154 at Painted Cave this (Thursday) morning.
At 6:58 a.m. California Highway Patrol received a call from a reporting party that a Nissan Titan pickup was on its roof.
Several vehicles stopped to assist as the driver and two passengers were trapped inside the truck. Minutes later CHP updated that only two occupants were safely out of the truck and one was still trapped.
CHP called in a traffic break as the collision was in the westbound lanes and requested the Jaws of Life might be necessary to extricate the passenger.
