Montecito Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire on Sycamore Canyon in Montecito on Tuesday.
At 5:50 p.m., crews responded to the corner of Camino Viejo an Sycamore Canyon for a reported fire.
When they arrived they discovered a sedan engulfed in flames that was extending to nearby hedges.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire on the vehicle and nearby brush. The driver was the only occupant in the vehicel and was not injured, according to the Montecito Fire Department.
“Thanks to our CHP Santa Barbara partners for helping to maintain safety on scene,” the Montecito Fire Department states.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
