Well, we all know what happened here don't we? Looks like handicapped parking directly on line. This is another example of Old People causing damage to our community. Forget the homeless, by and large they don't get behind 2 tons of metal and aim. We need to do something. Contact Murillo and insist she act to stop these Old People threats. Send them back to their retirement communities or move them to Phoenix as needed. Keep SB young(er).

@10:16. Not all handicap people are "old people". However, in San Luis Obispo someone drove into a Chevron station from the handicap parking just a couple weeks ago. I am not with you on the snide "old people" comments, but maybe there should be some better judgements made when it comes to handing out licenses for some folks.

11:03 a.m.--smile. The comments are meant as sarcasm and irony. The idea is to point out the inconsistency of those who want to blame a group/class as a whole rather than to actually look at the background data and see if their claims and fears are justified. Oh well....

leave it to this community to misunderstand sarcasm. I'm sure they wouldn't agree with your point, even if they did understand it. Lol

@11:11. :-) I'm old. I get it now. It's like blaming the guns and everyone that owns them for a psycho that uses it to kill innocent people.

Actually, I am surprised (and somewhat appalled) that the DMV no longer performs driving tests for folks over the age of even 75 or 80. I asked that very question at the DMV and they just said they don't do it. I think it is certainly possible that as we age, our ability to somehow see, or sense, or hear something that would cause a younger person to react more quickly. I would fall into the group that should be tested, and even requested a driving test and was refused ???!!
