A solo vehicle crash ended up landing on the railroad tracks off Highway 101 south of Gaviota late Tuesday morning.
At 11:42 a.m., Santa Barbara County Firefighters respond to the area in between Refugio and El Capitan State Beaches for a vehicle crash.
Crews discovered the vehicle landed on the oceanside railroad tracks. The female driver was the only occupant of the vehicle and was able to self extricate. She was uninjured and refused medical transport to the hospital, according to the County Fire Department.
The railroad tracks are temporarily closed for vehicle removal.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
