Vehicle Accident on Harris Grade

Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to Harris Grade Road for a multi-vehicle traffic collision on Saturday morning.

The collision took place around 10:15 a.m. north of the road’s summit. 

There were four patients, three with minor injuries and one with moderate injuries. All were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment. There was no extrication required.

The roadway was blocked by the vehicles for a period of time but reopened around 11:30 a.m.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
