Vegetation fire along Highway 101 southbound between State Street and La Cumbre. SB County Fire Dept has a small vegetation fire at Turnpike as well, that’s two fires reported.

Tons of homeless camps in those areas and it was chilly last night and wood was probably wet and extra smoky from our rain. Sure wish we had an actual campground here, I think it would help with our homeless situation, some of these guys actually want to camp….
Keep in mind there is the legal principle “Higher Public Purpose” when public health and safety risks conflict with other’s conferred individual rights. Listen up, ACLU, do your homework. We are doing ours.
