Vegetation Fire in Los Alamos

Santa Barbara County firefighters are responding to a roadside brush fire on Highway 101 near Los Alamos.
At 1:41 p.m. Tuesday, fire crews received a report of a fire burning between Highway 101 northbound and a frontage road south of Los Alamos.
Crews arrived on the scene and discovered less than one acre of a roadside grass fire, named the Bell Fire. The Incident Command on the scene canceled air support and dozers and will handle with the equipment that is already on the scene.
CHP has traffic restrictions in the area.
