Vegetation Fire Contained in Los Olivos

At 1:19 Friday afternoon, Santa Barbara County Fire Department responded to an ongoing vegetation fire on the 4000 block of E. Oak Trail Road in Los Olivos. The fire spread approximately 10 acres before forward progress was stopped. Firefighters have now reached 50% containment.

Initially, some structures were threatened, but after a full response from Santa Barbara County Fire and the Los Padres Forest Service, all nearby structures are safe from harm.

Red Cross Shelter being established at Santa Ynez HS I think that is where..Animal services being contacted for a trailer.

3900 Block of Badger Road, Calzada Area some evacuations on Oak Trail Road...exact location unknown by me in Buellton.
