Expressing condolences, Reyes stated, “Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of the student who passed away on campus this past week.”
The university acknowledged the emotional toll of the situation and assured support for those affected by the tragedy.
The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Office has initiated a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding Gromotsky’s death. Pending results from a toxicology report, additional information will be disclosed upon the conclusion of the inquiries.
