Two Seriously Injured in New Cuyama Traffic Collision

Two people sustained critical injuries following a single-vehicle rollover in New Cuyama Friday afternoon.

At 2:48 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters, a ground ambulance, and a CalStar helicopter responded to the area of Foothill and Kirschmann Roads. 

Upon arrival, crews found two occupants with critical injuries lying in the roadway. A second helicopter was called from Santa Barbara County Air Support Unit. Both occupants were treated on the scene by firefighter-paramedics and transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
