Two cars caught fire on the top deck of a downtown Santa Barbara parking lot on Thursday.
At 12:15 p.m., Santa Barbara City firefighters responded to Parking Lot 7, near the intersection of Figueroa and Anacapa Streets across from the County Courthouse and behind the Library for a reported fire.
When crews arrived they discovered two vehicles fully engulfed in flames. Smoke could be seen for miles over the downtown area.
