On Tuesday around 7:40 p.m. a truck collided with at least two vehicles on South Fairview Ave. and James Fowler Rd. near the Santa Barbara Airport in Goleta.
This is a common area for accidents as the road turns at a 90° angle towards the airport. In this case it appears the truck went airborne and landed on top of parked vehicles, avoiding a home full of people having dinner.
There appeared to be no serious injuries, although the truck appeared to hit some boulders and somehow flew over the small parking lot.
No other details were available at the time.

They need to install speed humps on that stretch of Fairview ave.
No they don’t. I drive by there frequently and rarely see people speeding there. The turn is clearly marked with a bunch of reflective warning signs easily visible at night. People just need to drive sober and pay attention.
This (SBA) Area is part of the Santa Barbara Airport, due to the proximity to vital infrastructure and local, County, city, and Federal laws, there is always a full response to incidents such as this. County Fire Dept. Airport police, Santa Barbara Police Dept., and CHP all respond to serious issues such as this.
Note to self: don’t drive 100 mph when approaching an L-turn.
yes very slow speed is best
