When one has been very active physically and maintained one’s own home, it’s hard to get your head around becoming less agile and strong and having to hire out no-brainers you one once did easily. It’s a double hit: Age stealing your physical prowess, and paying with dollars you saved then they were worth many times more. What you earned in a day is often less than the price for minimumly skilled labor on jobs you used to be able to perform better and not ruin anything else in the process.
