Around 10:30a this morning [Sunday], Santa Barbara Police set up a perimeter to make an arrest near Milpas and Ortega Streets and 700-800 blocks of Milpas.

SBPD were searching for a white male adult suspected of committing numerous burglaries. They were able to detain the suspect and bring him into custody, name and charges are not available.

If you were in the area and saw a bunch of police this is why.
