Sunday morning was mostly bright when we took off for a practice flight near Carp. Coming back ATC asked us to relay a message to a County helo flying close to the Montecito mountains. It turned out the injured hiker they went to rescue was in the next canyon to the West, and from miles away we watched them find the spot to hover expertly. In this cropped long zoom pic you can just make out someone hanging below the helo. We also got this pic of progress on the SBHS stadium construction.
