On February 26, 2026, at approximately 1637 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 2015 S. Broadway.
During the stop, officers observed a pit bull inside the vehicle that was acting aggressively toward them.
While officers were conducting their investigation, the pit bull exited the vehicle and charged toward one of the officers.
The dog was subdued to prevent it from attacking the officer.
