For the next two weeks, drivers should expect periodic delays and flaggers directing traffic at the Sycamore Canyon roundabout. Contractors are performing sewer main work related to the Montecito-Yanonali Street Bridge Replacement Project. The bridge project is expected to be complete this winter.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:
The Project will replace the existing bridge with a new structure to ease pedestrian and bicyclist traffic through the busy Montecito-Yanonali Streets intersection. The Project also includes the construction of a sidewalk on the north facing side of Salinas Street from Mason Street to Clifton Street.

The goal of the Project is to encourage more people to walk to and from their destinations by providing a safe, aesthetically pleasing pedestrian environment. This Project will provide access to Cleveland and Franklin Elementary Schools and to the Eastside Neighborhood Park.
