He was running from the law and did not want to spend up to 6 months in jail and pay a $1,000 fine. He served a customer a plastic straw with their beverage….second offense. Drop a steaming dooker at the corner of State & Carrillo in broad daylight…get honored by the city council and the mayor hands you the keys to your new apartment with an ocean view, and a few buck each month to boot.
