Confirmation from a friend sounds like the accident is near Dump road on the 101 Both sides North and South heavy traffic but Northbound will be Super Delayed…

Grapevine says it’s a fatal accident…Dump road is the road that leads to the county Dump and County Jail 4400 Block of Calle Real…

Well county Sheriff dispatch called it “Dump Road” and since I report what I hear I did too…Google probably calls Hendrys beach Arroyo Burro Thanks Tagdes I think D8vanilla Knows what I was talking about she was just being funny.
Dump Road had me confused for awhile as we have one here in Carpinteria, leading (of course) to an old dump, now the parking lot for the oil workers (on boats and ocean rigs)
This first report was someone ejected from one of the vehicles but everything changes, I hope he pulls through too..I remember an accident there involving a garbage truck that killed 3 people I think it was 1981. The trucks brakes went out it rolled backwards toward the 101 went through the fence backed into the center divider flipped over and a car crashed into the cab both employees of the company killed as well as the driver of the car but she was in intensive care for a while…I was there right after it happened.
So glad I came back and checked for updates on this story.. Thanks Roger for the clarification and more info. It is so common for the story to change as more details are released. Can’t count how many times that has happened.
I thought the ramp was there before the accident I had seen it on a number of occasions delivering stuff to the dump. Funny you were there too…I remembering watching the responders pull the guys out and the beer cans that followed.
Somehow I think some of these down votes are personal rather than the content offending anyone.
TAGDES is right. “El Dumpo Road” is the road that leads uphill from Calle Real to the County Dump, Jail and Sheriff’s Office. To my knowledge, it’s always been informally called El Dumpo Road by pretty much everyone, including the deputies who have to use it every day, even though its proper name is County Dump Road. Kind of like, “I say Hendry’s, you say Arroyo Burro.”
Your absolutely correct flicka. It does not matter what you say, could be good news, correct info, helpful insight or just a strong opinion. I’m part of the down-voted crew too. The serial down-voters are someone you got in an argument with or said one thing that really pissed them off and they just can’t get over it. Pathetic if you ask me but the good is thing is we have a life, we get outside, we breathe we do fun stuff. They just sit at home at troll us all day.
