  1. That is a strange response from the city. Why would an intersection change require anything, let alone reach a threshold of an arbitrary number of accidents? Is there some State law that requires every single intersection to have a traffic study and reach a certain threshold of _____ before any change can be made? I don think so… but I could be wrong. Regardless this is a classic bureaucratic CYA. A whole bunch of people unable and unwilling to make a decision… This is how our city is run mind you. Its why all the department managers need consultants to tell them how to do their job and why the city and its elected officials do NOTHING but pass the buck. Once again, this is the fundamental failure of our Mayor to lead. To manage the expectations of the people and balance the operational challenges. Its why an inept, wet noodle like Murillo is the last person you want leading a city on the brink of financial disaster.
