Not sure why people are blaming a traffic accident on the homeless… There were lots of accidents yesterday and I’m thinking they probably have more to do with bad driving. I live a couple of blocks from the freeway and it’s been hot so sleeping with my windows wide open, woke up to the sound of some serious freeway speeding last night. I don’t know if it was a motorcycle or car with a loud engine, or a race, but it was loud and it was fast! My sleeping brain thought it was 200 mph, that’s how fast it sounded. Scary! Glad that I didn’t hear a crash do go with it.
As for the homeless camps I think the city should create their own, provide spots that have safe fire pits, showers and security. If you can’t beat em them find a solution that helps keep our city safer and cleaner.
Talk about making a mountain out of a molehill. Yes, fear mongering is based on wild exaggerations of questionable facts… ie. opinions – like noses we all have ’em and they just smell. Edison shutting power over a puff of smoke??? Call out the panic brigade!
