At 8:11 a.m. (Wednesday), two vehicles collided near Goleta with at least one reported injury.
The collision happened at the intersection of Cathedral Oaks Road and N. San Marcos Road between a white Honda Accord and a blue Honda Fit.
Per CHP, airbags were deployed in at least one vehicle although both vehicles sustained major damage.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a pedestrian may have also been involved in this collision although I haven’t heard confirmation on the scanner.
AMR ambulance responded for at least one injury but I don’t have more information on that.
The signal light on the corner near the yellow preschool building has some damage and may not be operable.
