Hundreds of dancers joined the annual Halloween Thriller flash mob took place in the Sunken Gardens on Saturday afternoon.

At 3:00 p.m., the World Dance Zombies rose from the lawn of Santa Barbara’s Courthouse to perform Michael Jackson’s iconic dance as part of a global event, Thrill the World. This was the 8th year World Dance for Humanity hosted the experience, which continues to include Flashmobs all over town until Halloween on Wednesday.

A large crowd formed around the garden lawn to witness the intricate dance moves and snap photos of the creative costumes.

On Sunday the dance crew flash mobbed several wineries in the Santa Ynez Valley, as well as a final dance tribute in front of Michael Jackson’s Neverland Ranch.
