Report: 25-64491
Narrative:
On October 13, 2025, at 12:39 p.m., Ventura Police Department officers responded to Clark’s Liquor, located at 1703 North Ventura Avenue, regarding a reported armed robbery. Three male juveniles entered the store and stole several bottles of alcohol. As the suspects exited, an employee attempted to stop them. One suspect brandished a handgun and pointed it at the employee, who retreated back into the store. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle, which was later determined to be associated with a missing persons case out of Las Vegas, NV.
A Ventura Police officer located the vehicle a short time later and attempted a traffic stop. The driver refused to yield, leading to a vehicle pursuit. Due to the suspect’s reckless driving and high speeds, the pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.
The vehicle was later observed traveling southbound on Highway 101, and the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office (VCSO) tried to stop the vehicle. The suspects fled again and deputies pursued the vehicle into Camarillo before losing sight of it near Los Posas Road.
Later that evening, VCSO deputies located and stopped the same vehicle in Camarillo. Seven juveniles were detained. Ventura Police detectives responded to assist with the investigation. Three of the male juveniles were identified as the suspects involved in the robbery, including the individual who brandished the firearm.
A BB gun matching the description of the weapon used in the robbery, was recovered from the vehicle, along with items stolen in the robbery.
The three identified male juveniles, ages 14, 14, and 16, along with the 16-year-old driver, were arrested for Robbery, Conspiracy, and Felony Evading. All were booked at Juvenile Hall.
